I don't think I'll ever watch 24. Not because of any arguments, quality issues, or anything else; I'm sure it's an outstanding show and the premise is exactly the kind of thing that normally hooks me in like a starving shark confronted by bleeding squid. It's just that the show's forever associated with a very unfortunately placed billboard... see, the first time I ever saw actual advertising material for 24 was last September 11th, and the tagline next to Jack Bauer's picture was 'get ready for a day you'll never forget'.

The fact that the main character is now forever associated with stress-relief desperate laughter kind of makes it hard for me to get into the spirit. Especially since everything I've ever heard about it says that it's Bloody Brilliant. Ah, well...
