I am happy to inform you that the history department has accepted you
into the M.A.. program for the fall. You should soon be receiving
official letters of confirmation from us and the graduate school. There
is a waiting list for financial aid. The students who need aid almost
always get it, but this can be a protracted process, as we can only
release the money when it becomes available to us
