Hanging out with the Dream King

Something (brought on by reading too many on-line indie comics, I guess) in my dream last night - a small press comic about the battles between a stereotypical Bond-like secret agent and a sterotypical Blofeld-like super-villain except that somewhere in the past, they were both linked by their common love for one woman and are both still incredibily neurotic about it. Basically contrasting the absurdity of their flamboyant, cinematic, explosions and firearms confrontations that define their professional lives with the absurdity of the fact that these two guys still can't get a real date or meaningful relationship and are still mooning over the same girl that dumped them years ago and who probably has no idea what they're doing now. If that makes any sense.

Also from the same dream - your typical TV show about three women who are also super-agents, except that these women are as completely vacuuous and shallow in their agent lives as in their cover lives. Imagine three sorority girls who giggle their way and adjust their makeup as they battle and fight their way through hordes of faceless standard thugs - and this isn't a put-on, much to the frustration of their more serious boss, a more competent and professional woman. Kind of like Dirty Pair meets Clueless. May have been done before.
