Hmmm. Not bad. The typeface could be more interesting.... Does it get animated?

No idea. I'm pretty underwhelmed, myself, and the lens flare is a bit naff. It's like they were trying to ape the Farscape logo and not quite succeeding.

It might grow on me, but I would be preferred the font be a bit chunkier, more substantial.

Yes. Needs to be heavier, possibly a bit edgier, maybe slightly irregular round the edges maybe. I see what you mean about Farscape (not that I watch it). If it animates, though, that might improve it.

... that was my instant reaction to the logo also, it just seemed to shout "Farscape" at me, I think it is the tall thin fonts.

Of course if you fix the aspect ratio so that the ellipse is the circle it is meant to be ... <grin>
