To borrow a more appropriate Peanutsism: Aauugghhhhh!!!! I feel lucky in that I've actually met 3 of the Doctors - Tom Baker, Colin Baker, and Jon Pertwee. I missed the convention (Magnum Opus Con) where Patrick Troughton died in his sleep, and none of the others have been close enough for me to get there (and the original, William Hartnell, passed away before I was even aware of the show). Haunting the stage door may be your best bet.
