AAAAAAGH

Ian McKellan is in town to perform King Lear, 19-21 July. The only tickets left are going for $400. Now, I like McKellan's work naturally, but that's not why I'm screaming. I just found out...

SYLVESTER MCCOY IS PLAYING THE PART OF THE FOOL.

My. Favourite. Doctor. Is. In. Town. And. I. Won't. Get. To. See. Him.

*buries head in hands and cries*

I'm so gutted.

Maybe if I just try to stalk the stage entrance...

Any way you can volunteer at the theater in question?

Stalk the stage door. It'll give him something to talk about, that someone was there for *him* rather than for Sir Ian.

Oh man...I'm sorry.

To borrow a more appropriate Peanutsism:
Aauugghhhhh!!!!
I feel lucky in that I've actually met 3 of the Doctors - Tom Baker, Colin Baker, and Jon Pertwee. I missed the convention (Magnum Opus Con) where Patrick Troughton died in his sleep, and none of the others have been close enough for me to get there (and the original, William Hartnell, passed away before I was even aware of the show).
Haunting the stage door may be your best bet.

Can't you order him arrested on some charge or other and have him brought into court? : -)

Oh dear.

I feel your pain. I was the same way when Coldplay came to town and I couldn't afford to go. Man.
