2007 World Series, Game Three

I'm actually managing to watch this game live from the beginning because it's a Saturday morning here.

Bottom of the 7th and a 3-run homer from Matt Frickin' Holliday narrows our lead to 1 after a 6-run 3rd inning. Goddamn it.

And Todd Helton just got a base hit. AAAGH. You're killing me, guys. Killing me!

ETA: Bless you, Jacoby Ellsbury. More breathing room, please.

ETA: My wish is answered by Dustin Pedroia. Thank you.

ETA: Shut them down, Papelbon.

And we're done! Three down.

Team 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 R H E
Boston Red Sox 0 0 6 0 0 0 0 3 1 10 15 1
Colorado Rockies 0 0 0 0 0 2 3 0 0 5 11 0

Sorry

I'm afraid that since 2004, you are no longer allowed an H1B visa/permanent residency card just for being a Red Sox fan.

Now, that honor is reserved just for being a Cubs fan.

But for what it's worth, I'm watching the game, on the edge of my seat, even in the bottom of the 8th.

[Defensive]Hey, I became a sap by choice in 2002![/Defensive]

Apparently, there are post-2004 fans who are actually saying that they hope we lose in Denver so that we can win at Fenway. To which the only proper response is a wide-eyed, "ARE YOU INSANE?!?"

2002? Hah. 1975!! (To be fair, I was 5 years old and very impressionable. :)

Well, considering I didn't even know the rules of baseball until 2002...

Anyway, it's not the age, it's the cut-off point. :P
