Stop me before I filk again

The inevitable Attack of the Clones filk.

(ttto "Mr Bojangles")

I knew a man called Jango
And he'd kill for cash
He liked it too
With Mandalorian armor
And a missile pack
He'd give the old one-two
    He would jump so high
    Jump so high
Then he'd shoot you right down
I met him on Kamino
It rained all the time
Man, it was wet
And they were growing all
These trooper clones
A matching set
    They looked like him
    Yes, they looked like him
    It was his DNA

    Mr Clone Jango
    Mr Clone Jango
Mr Clone Jango - don't shoot
So they were all Clone Jangos
And I knew at once
That we'd been had
He said this guy Tyrannus
Had commissioned him
It was looking bad
    We fought in the rain
    We fought in the rain
    And I damn nearly drowned
He leapt around on rocket flames
And tried his best
To give me hell
I used my saber to
Deflect his blasts
But I slipped and fell
    I climbed back up
    Feeling like a jerk
    But he'd flown away
I saw him one more time
That was on Geonosis
When the Army attacked
He fought with Windu
And he met his end
Got his head detached
    But he lives on
    He lives on
In the clones we now use

    Mr Clone Jango
    Mr Clone Jango
Mr Clone Jango - lives on

Pure evil.

I'm wondering if the clone DNA degrades over time, after all the Stormtroopers in the classic films can't hit the broad side of a barn. The ones in Episode II seem much more focused. They've also got troop leadership, which is decidedly lacking in the Stormtroopers we know.

Only Imperial Stormtroopers are so Precise

Actually, Stormtroopers are pretty good in the classic trilogy, but not when shooting at the main cast. They have plot armour. Watch the opening sequence again and see how many rebels fall vs. stormtroopers.

Plot armour, similar in substance to stupid fog, which causes otherwise bright characters like Lois Lane to fail to recognize things like, oh, that Clark Kent is Superman.

Are Plot Armour and Script Immunity the same thing?

Perhaps it is like "Multiplicity"

As you make copies of copies, the quality degrades. After all, the original was gone, and I'd expect Bobba (the next best clone) to stay far away from Kamino after the death of his father.

That's what I was thinking. Especially since they age them twice as fast.

I was waiting for a poignant scene where Bobba sees one of the clones and starts crying all over again.
