Cassandra Update, part 2

Thanks to the most brilliant Carbon Copy Cloner, I've managed to dump Cassandra's HD (Dexter) onto the 60 GB Firewire drive. Now to cart her over to the nearest AppleCentre to see if they can do anything about her loose connectors. The important thing is, my data's preserved, and at least I still have Mike⁽¹⁾ (my old B&W Powermac G3) to work with. Mike only runs on OS 9.2 but that's better than nothing. And yes, I installed OS 9 drivers on the Firewire drive so Mike should be able to read it.

Whew. For now.

While you are awaiting Cassandra's recovery, are you following the FCC brouhaha on the consolidation of media ownership, orchestrated by Rupert Murdoch, Verizon, Clear Channel, etc., and being helped along by Colin Powell's 'little boy' Michael?? Clear Channel alone owns more than 1200 radio stations, I'm told ~ talk about homogeneity in content! It's like eating tinned spaghetti all the time ~ all starch and goo, no protein, texture or flavor.
