Sigh

Okay, that's it. Grady Little must die.

I really didn't want to root for the Marlins.

Poor thing. I would've liked to see the Sox make it, honestly.

Thanks. Keep this team, get rid of Grady Little, and we'll see you next year.

sigh...

I will be astounded if the Marlins put up even token resistence.

You have my condolences.

Better luck next year!

For heaven's sake, don't root for the Marlins! The time comes when one must simply root for no one.

I absolutely refuse to root for either the Mullets or the Damn Yankees. There are some things one must not do, some lines that can't be crossed. No, no, a thousand times NO!!!!
(Now, shall I tell you how I really feel?)

It's nearly basketball season.

Damn those Yankees!

New theory...

Actually didn't see the game since I was at a Neil Gaiman reading. Now, having not seen the game, I can't be sure if the times actually sync up. But, it's not an unreasonable possibility that either during the bottom of the eighth or the bottom of the eleventh, Neil was reading his story "Fifteen Portraits of Dispair". Curiously, none of them included anything having to do with the Cubs or the Red Sox, but I'd suggest adding a 16th wouldn't be untoward.
