Silent All These Days

I went up to Malaysia for a couple of days to visit relatives. Back now.

Miss me?

Terribly. Come to London and be my non-native guide. :)

I did miss you, in fact. Have been wanting to point out various things in [livejournal.com profile] riba_rambles, as well as just missing you.

Yes, but I'm working on my aim.

Join the club. Bastard's aim may be off, but his reflexes are great.

Yes! Now, get back to entertaining us!

Hey, wanna play a round of Illuminati?

[identity profile] teddywolf.livejournal.com 2004-06-16 09:28 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm. The easiest way would be to have two decks, similarly stacked and cut, send one to you and play via IRC - at least, for as long as we aren't in the same area.

BTW, have you seen Illuminati: Crime Lords yet?

[identity profile] khaosworks.livejournal.com 2004-06-16 09:33 am (UTC)(link)
Interesting idea, but I've never had the patience for these long-distance games... I like doing stuff face to face, somehow.

I haven't seen Crime Lords. Any good?

[identity profile] teddywolf.livejournal.com 2004-06-16 09:40 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, I vastly prefer face to face as well, but it is *doable* LD.

Crime Lords has a few more complexities than original Illuminati (action tokens, the bidding process at the beginning of the game) and a few simplifications (one central treasury, no control arrows). Also, the money process used during power struggles does mean wildly fluctuating target numbers, as well as a possibility for the money situation to change.

[identity profile] teddywolf.livejournal.com 2004-06-16 09:41 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. Yes, it is very good. It can take longer than original Illuminati, though. Because of the money thing it is also very playable with two people, unlike original.

Terence who? *grin*

Yeah, of course I missed you.

Dreadfully. Even while I was at the con I attended. On the back of my mind was: where's Terence, dammit!
