I am a happy geek

And it takes very little to make a geek happy.

Nowhere Man, Alien Nation and MacGyver Season 4 DVD boxed sets arrived.

'sfunny how the memories come flooding back. I'm remembering all sorts of trivia and crap about the Tenctonese religion, language and culture that I learned back when the show was on which I had forgotten until now.

I'd be interesting in more Nowhere Man, although after a while, the whole Conspiracy just seemed to big and I started to assume that his starting point was what was wrong, not what came after.

Alien Nation is on the list.

Lately, I've been immersing myself in Earth2, and Cleopatra 2525. :)

We've not tended to watch movies on video a second time, so we are not buying DVDs, but when I learned that MacGyver was being shown on SpikeTV and we had the DVR available, I started recording them all. We delete them as we watch, but it is amazing to me just how much I remember of shows that I saw once or maybe twice, about 20 years ago. I see Mac get into a car in Bulgaria while being chased by the local secret police, and I remember what's going to go wrong with the car.

Fun watching Teri Hatcher's "Penny Parker" again, too, though I had managed to forget just how truly annoying she is.
