Heads up San Diego

I've registered for Comic-Con 2007 and will be rooming with [livejournal.com profile] querldox.

Anyone else going?

The year after I move, too... :)

Taco shops in San Diego are best if they're small, questionable, and named things like Alberto's, Rigoberto's, Adalberto's, etc.

While I would deem it fun and an honor to show you around, I tend to stay far away from the Convention Center during ComicCon week. I just can't get my head (or my car) around a party for 120,000 of my closest friends.

I haven't yet decided if I'll be there or not, but it's possible.

There's a slim chance of maybe. My friend [livejournal.com profile] vagabond_ruler is usually running the Cartoon Network booth.

Of course, if I actually wanted to hang out with her, I'd go the week after instead.

If I actually manage to get us a room; the online reservation system, to be blunt, sucks unbelievably bad. It's hung for long periods, if you hit reload or back it destroys everything you've entered, you have to enter your credit card info on a separate window, which afterwards will suddenly put up text for .1 seconds and then close, putting you back on a window that has now been loading for 30 minutes without any indication of whether I have a reservation or not. And, of course, the phone number is consistently busy.
