Top of the 8th, Red Sox are ahead 13-1.
It's the Sox. Of
course I can't relax.
ETA: Okay, I can relax for now. But back to nail chewing tomorrow.

The Sox set a new record for margin of victory in World Series Game 1. The record had previously been 11 runs, held by two teams...both of whom then lost the overall Series. And the Sox had to break this particular record by scoring 13 runs...these things do not bode well.
On the other hand, the Sox are continuing their comeback ways. Their last 11 runs were all scored with 2 outs (and I'm still trying to figure out if the entire lineup managed to bat in the fifth after the second out).
