The World is Awesome (extended)

An extended version of the "Boom-De-Ah-Dah" song from Discovery Channel (also known as "I Love the World"). Yeah, I know, a lot of people (myself included) didn't glom on to this until xkcd pointed us in its direction, but rarely do I find a song that makes me want to hug everybody I see after I hear it, so once again, here's the original (with subtitles!), and below is the longer version.

I love this so much. It makes me tear up and want to jump up and down.

Okay, that was rather weird.

When I clicked on it in my friends list, it was a trailer for a Bond movie. I thought you were playing a joke on us.

When I clicked on the link to view comments in your LJ, *then* the embedded YouTube link was the discovery channel song.

Hmm. There are a couple of possibilities.

Cache issue: it's happened once before to me, where I wind up seeing the last video I watched instead of the one that's supposed to be embedded.

Typo: I made a mistake in the embed code which was corrected when I re-edited it, but that seems unlikely unless you watched it several hours before you typed this comment.

Other than that, I dunno.

Oh, probably a cache issue then. I didn't realize that embedded videos were dependent on cache; I thought they'd be more like direct links.

It may be a function of the way LJ handles Youtube code - instead of embedding the Youtube HTML as is, LJ substitutes its own, shortened, [embed] tag. So that might confuse your browser.
