Just finished watching the latest Stargate SG-1, "Cure"....
Good episode. Started off slow, but then the revelations came in quickly, and the punchline of the Goa'uld Queen being the Tok'Ra progenitor elevated the issues of experimentation to a whole new emotional level. I liked it, even though I figured out each plot twist a couple of minutes before the characters realized them, thanks to the way the clues the were laid out.
Still, as I watching it, I couldn't help missing the presence of Michael Shanks, who would have been superb in this episode. This felt like an episode the writers had Daniel in mind as a cast member instead of Jonas, given the archeological dig and the translations of the ancient Goa'uld hierogylphs. Anyone else catch that vibe?
