According to the latest issue of FORTUNE (cover story on 'The New Business of War'), the US military has paid KBR $3 billion since 1999. KBR provides food, water, laundry, mail and heavy equipment to the US military - it started in the Balkans and is now operational in Kuwait, as part of the buildup for war with Iraq.
