Stuff from dreams over the last couple of days...

A very pulp-fiction premise - a scientist develops a means whereby "molecular memory" can be extracted from a sample of fresh water in a crystalline compound, so that when dropped into a body of contaminated water, it will transform that body into fresh water, leaving the contaminants as a residue to be easily filtered away. The villain kidnaps the scientist, realizing that the same process could be used to extract the memory from toxic waste, say, and then he can hold the metropolis' water supply hostage, for starters... the attractive daughter of the scientist (there's always one) approaches the heroes for help. Wackiness ensues.

Using nanites to fool biometric devices, by first transmitting an electrical signal to the first sensor that will mimic the biometric signature it's looking for, and thereafter invading the security system and hacking the database so that subsequent security devices will recognize the infiltrator as legitimate.

A film noir murder mystery set in the 50s and involving a genius teenage schoolgirl named Argosy Jones who leads a double life as a high-class call girl, only to get involved with an erotic photography / child pornography ring. When she disappears, a hard-bitten reporter who had used her services investigates her life, and as he gets closer to the truth, is accused of her murder. Visualized John Cusack as the reporter, Kirsten Dunst as Argosy Jones. Don't know why, but I like the idea of Argosy as a girl's name.
