Noreascon schedule
Aug. 3rd, 2004 11:17 amI've booked my tickets for Worldcon 2004 in Boston.
I'll be flying in on Friday, September 3, touching down at Logan around 9 pm, and schlepping my luggage over to the Sheraton and trying to find the filk circles.
Con commitments: panels on Sunday - at noon, a panel on "America's Best Comics", and at 2.00 pm, "The Tropes of H.P. Lovecraft" (yes, I had to look up the word, too - it means a non-literal word or phrase. A metaphor is a type of trope). I'm also giving a half-hour concert at 5.30 pm.
I'll be flying back to Atlanta Monday morning. Yeah, I know that's not much time spent, but I don't think I'll be able to take much time off the academic schedule, with classes having only started 2 weeks before, and if I want to be able to make it to OVFF, I don't want to be absent too much from classes.
Anyway, aside from those commitments and a couple of panels which look interesting, I'll be generally available to meet up if Bostonians want to swing by the convention center area. Let me know and we'll work something out.
