an icepick through the keyhole

I was the only one brave enough to STILL run a BBS at 1200 baud and on a 10meg HD when everyone else was running at 14400 or 28800, and having 2 or 3 cdroms full of data... I remember much later when I was one of a few still bravely running his private BBS full of message boards and games while everyone else was turning to the internet... I wonder if I'll be looking back on this 10 yrs from now when people have an Internet chip permanently imbedded in their skulls.
