Goodness, I've been waiting to read your review ever since I watched the episode on Sunday.

My own quickie review: I was very disappointed with "Journey's End". One of Davies's worst tendencies was to have arbitrary developments and endings-- technobabble, random "because the Doctor says so" moments, untelegraphed "surprises", and, above all, deus ex machina endings. In this regard, "Journey's End" topped them all.
