Younger Sis: hey so what's up with mom and twitter????
Me: According to Mom, she was in the computer lab and someone there helped her sign up for the service. She said she just "followed the instructions", but was unable to explain how she found our accounts.
Don't think she's actually going to use it...
Sis: "unable to explain how she found our accounts"????
our mother is some kind of web 2.0 savant?
Me: I asked her how she found us to be able to follow us, but she said she didn't know.
And waved dismissively.
Sis: i'm officially scared
Me: Yeah
Sis: she signed up for flickr too...I thought you helped her do it
Me: No, I think that was Dad.
Sis: oh ok. you better keep an eye on her. our mother may have been replaced by aliens.

Me: Why can't they be like other parents and stick to stone knives and bearskins and think of the computer as "that shiny thing that makes funny noises made by the gods"?
