As you've probably heard by now, there's been a bit of a contretemps in the United States. Two hijacked planes have slammed into the World Trade Center towers in New York - a third explosion caused one of the towers to collapse. We don't know how many have been hurt or killed, reports of people jumping out of tower windows. New York is in a panic. A third plane whacked its way into the Pentagon, which is now on fire. The White House has been evacuated, the Mall is on fire, US airports have been shut down, Air Force One has taken off, Bush has vowed to hunt those responsible down...

I know this is really sick of me, but this would be really cool if it weren't real. As it is, it's horrifying, and whoever did this is in big trouble. It's like someone was reading Tom Clancy and saying, "Hey, I can do better". This is coordinated, of course. It couldn't be otherwise.
