Of course, there are no comics today because shipments from America have been delayed. Curse you, Bin Laden!
Reminds me of when I was living in London (1991 to 1994) and the IRA blowing stuff up was basically routine. The closest it ever got to me was when I was coming home from college (I think it was 1993) and I saw the Telegraph's evening headline saying "IRA BOMB GOES OFF IN WOOD GREEN". I was thinking, in the usual blase Londoner way, Oh, that's just another... hey, wait a minute, I live in Wood Green!
Turns out the bomb went off outside Wood Green Shopping Center, which is like two blocks away from where I was living. No one was hurt. It shattered a few windows, and caused the bookstore where I get my morning paper to shut down for about a week. I was more pissed at the fact that the nearest bookstore to me was shut down than anything else.
In the end, it's always about you.
