khaosworks | Keeping in touch

I just found out a friend of mine is going through some painful times. I had no idea. I had No. Fucking. Idea. We've never really been that close, but even then... Part of me wonders why she didn't tell me anything at all, and part of me is so ashamed that I hadn't been keeping close enough touch to find out before this. It's not her fault of course. I should have kept in touch. Distance is no excuse, not with the net.

So to people out there I care about (or at least profess to) who might be reading, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry I haven't been e-mailing, I'm sorry I haven't been taking more of an interest in what's been going on with your lives. I hope you can forgive me, and I hope you feel you can tell me stuff. Anything at all. I'll try not to be such an asshole about these things in the future.
