Pre-con preps
Oct. 22nd, 2001 08:01 pmGet the trenchcoat out of the vac-pac. Repack my gig bag so all sharp implements go into the suitcase and I don't get arrested for being a terrorist. Call up the credit card company to get a hold of travel insurance. Book the taxi really really early since I have to check in by 5 a.m. Thursday morning at the airport. Oh, and throw clothes into the suitcase of course.
The most important thing I have to do, really, if I can be bothered to get off my arse to do it, is to actually sit down and write down the chords to my own songs. It used to be easy to remember when I only had like ten or fifteen of the buggers, so I didn't have to really transcribe it onto the lyric sheet, but now that I've got over forty of them some start blurring into each other.
