The Powerbook has landed

Writing this entry on my spanking new Titanium G4 Powerbook, all nicely set up with my data from Mike. Took a while to transfer the info over, what with the usual cockups along the way and several gigs of info.

But it's done.

And now the real purpose of buying a Powerbook. I can MUSH from bed.

What, you thought I was being practical?

Oh, I plan to...

Trying at the moment to figure out how to export my old CD listings from OS 9 to OS X... or else I'll have to reload all my CD track listings off the Net again, which is going to be a pain, considering the mammoth number of CDs I own.

Ooh, PowerBook. You lucky bugger! I was thinking about getting that as an upgrade from my iMac, but budget constraints didn't let me do so (i.e. Daddy said no), so I got an iBook instead. The white iBook is pretty but the TiBook is so darned cool!

Hey, at least you're getting hold of a Mac while still an undergrad. I didn't manage to get my first Mac (though lusting after it for years) until I started my first job and could afford the installments - being in a PC-centric household (i.e.cheap). The iBook was an option but I decided to go for the G4, since I already have a B&W G3.

Besides, after seeing how cool my Powerbook was, Dad got himself an iBook. Heh heh.
