I finally dumped my old Motorola L-Series cellular for a new Sony Ericsson T68i - it's triple band, which means I can use it if I make it to the US next year, it's GPRS capable as well, and most importantly, it's Bluetooth enabled, which means, thanks to a S$85 (US$49.95) widget stuck on the back of Cassandra, my new phone named Geepers will be all ready to take advantage of iSync when Apple releases it later this year.

Interestingly, some companies in the US are starting to build GSM networks, meaning that for the first time you can take your US phone (if it's one of those) to Europe and still be able to use it.

I'm so jealous ;-)
Now, you can see a picture of my very old and boring cellphone here - and then pity me, cuz KhaOs has a sooo much nicer one *laugh*

*hug* Have fun with your toy :)

... I've had my T68i for over a month now, it's still small, it's still pretty, it still has a long standby and talk time, it's already broken one belt clip (!) and you can get an MP3 player for it for under 40 pounds (which also acts as a hands-free kit)

The only downside is that the games aren't as good as on the T68 (or so I believe), it's sometimes a little easy (on my phone) to click on the joystick when you were trying to move up/down/across and so accidentally select something, and I haven't figured out how to use the POP3 mail without having to pay for GPRS (which is ridiculously expensive).

You're turning more and more into Dad.

No, if I were like Dad in this respect I'd be switching phones ever six months just to keep up with the bleeding edge. I've had the Motorola for nigh on three years now. Just so happens that when I switch, I tend to switch to the latest model in hopes that it doesn't become obsolete within three seconds.
