I guess I'll just be glad we got as much of it as we did.

It's so hard to predict when a show peaks, when it's time to leave on a high note. It does seem a lot of shows end before their time on SFC, but I'm going to choose to believe they have the best interests at heart.

Indications so far are that the decision was made purely for corporate-profit reasons. The show ratings have been steady, and high for a show on Sci Fi Channel.

In fact, the Sci Fi channel has yet to officially announce the cancellation. The news was broken by the show's producer, David Kemper, in a fairly impormptu IRC chat on SciFi's server.
