No warning needed
Oct. 8th, 2002 10:37 amStorm Warning, by the way, was superb. A wee bit "formula" Doctor, but Paul McGann can make the most cheesy lines come positively alive. It's like he's never been away - his Eighth Doctor is so full of life - child-like, wide-eyed fascination at the wonders of the cosmos, making you trust him instinctively, and yet managing to let you feel that it's a cover for a horribly ancient wisdom he wishes he didn't have about the way things work. The voice acting was great, and I really didn't mind the expository dialogue after all a while - and really, after all, it's an audio play, so the actors have to describe what they're seeing. And I don't know about the rest of you, but I think I'm in love with India Fisher, who plays Charley Pollard, the Doctor's new companion. The chemistry between the two of them is just wonderful.
