Howard Dean looks promising. Unfortunately, I can't donate anything to his campaign because I'm not a US citizen.

But I can still continue bitching, right?

Oh, and for God's sake, people, don't vote for Nader again. I mean, the idea of a third party rules and all, but first priority is getting that nimrod out of the Oval Office.

Of all those currently in the ring, I'm liking Dean the most too...but I'm certainly not ready to choose a candidate to support.

He seems to have some balls, which is nice coming from the Democratic Party.

I've subscribed to both Dean's and Edwards' email newsletters, and I'm liking Dean more and more, and Edwards a bit less. I also think he has a better chance of winning than Edwards; eventually, someone is going to make a very public comparison between Edwards and Carter, and Carter has gotten an awful lot of bad press about his presidency (though not his more recent good works) over the last 23-odd years.

If you wanted to "donate" something to his campaign, I'm sure any number of people would be willing to proxy that for you. Come to think of it, I'm not actually sure what the limitations are -- you cannot vote, certainly, but there are other things one might be able to do to support a cantidate, especially once you get over here.

Re: Nadar -- definately agreed. This election almost certainly does come down to a matter of getting the current administration OUT of office by any means.

Love,

Uuuurgh. Nader. Man, I live in the only voting district in the US to vote against FDR all four times (so I'm told) and I still wouldn't vote for a third-party candidate, just in case half the Republican voters came down with amoebic dysentery or something and the fistful of other voters living here made a difference.
