Date: 2003-05-04 03:06 pm (UTC)I remember being in school, and the news about the four being announced over the loudspeaker system. It was Senior Day, and I was in costume (Atalanta). I knew one of the guys from my own antiwar activity, and it just hurt so bad. I remember getting up in the middle of class, walking out (leaving all my stuff at my desk), sitting in the stairwell and crying for about an hour. Finally, the gym teacher brought me my stuff and I went home, because I couldn't handle it at all.
