Point one. [blush] Sorry I made you re-do the poll. But can I say that it's even better this time around?

Point two. Thank you for helping me rediscover my love of Who. It was a massive part of my life in my early 20s, and I'd rather lost track of it in recent years.

Point three. There's still not enough room to list my favourite stories. FX: sneerpout runs away. Very fast.

In retrospect, I agree with you completely. But when I was ickle, he struck me as being terribly dashing, whereas Benton always seemed to be a bit of a lummox.

But please don't get me started on the subject of fantasy men. I still have an intense crush on Virgil Tracy, and show no sign of growing of it (I'm 32).

Neglected to mention, but I thought Hugh Grant--to my surprise--did an excellent job.

Mixed feelings about Joanna Lumley. I'd be willing to watch more.

Indeed he did. Rowan was interesting, but not sufficiently different from his latter-day Blackadder persona. Maybe if he had more time with it, in a non-comedy script, he'd grow into it, but I wouldn't like to bet the future of a major and much-loved series on it...

Of course, this year we get lots of new chances to find out how other actors might play the Doctor, thanks to Big Finish... <BOUNCE, BOUNCE>

Hmmm.... Something's weird here. Some of my answers seem to have vanished from the final tally. My "favourite stories" list is there, but I'd answered "McGann, silly!" as an unlisted favourite Doctor (together with Baker and Davison, who are listed), and "Zoe" as an unlisted "shaggable companion" (along with Peri and Sarah, who are listed). Neither of those are showing, although I'm sure they were immediately after I'd voted.

Something wrong with the poll code, maybe?

And may I say that last time I checked, 30-odd years later, Wendy Padbury *still* looked scrumptious! =:o}
