The graphics card on Cassandra, my Powerbook, has died. I hope it can be repaired, replaced or at least the hard drive data retrieved. What really sucks is that about a weeks' worth of work is in the damn drive and I can't get at it or transfer it out. Shit.

Luck.

I symphatize as it can be a real inconvenient PITA to have your computer die on you suddenly. As I recall, your Powerbook is only a year or so old right? Hopefully its still under warranty and you can get it serviced.
Wish you luck in retrieving your files.
