Well, not really. There's a good two-thirds of my stuff, which includes most of my comic and fiction collection still in my room. But the "essentials", which include a lot of non-essential but I can't bear to be away from stuff, are all packed in 16 2' X 1' X 1' boxes and 1 larger box which used to house a 21" TV set. All this will be making their way to Marietta via container shipping (which they say will take 40 days) once I get them all sealed and labeled. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] logam and [livejournal.com profile] playingpossum for packing help (yes, my littlest sister is back in Singapore).

(I hope [livejournal.com profile] ladyat has the space...)

Man, am I sweaty.

Who's going to be receiving up all this stuff in Marietta? I'm curious since [livejournal.com profile] jost is no longer in Marietta. There are a number of us still here, though, and if you need space, I live in a 4BR house with plenty of storage.

The aforementioned [livejournal.com profile] ladyat and her husband, Bill (the latter who produced my CD), and whose place I'll be crashing at the first couple of weeks before the semester starts are in Marietta, about 5 minutes from where [livejournal.com profile] jost used to be, and have graciously offered up storage space.

If I need any more, I'll of course put out a general SOS to my Georgia family.

I see that, now. When I wrote my first post, the reference to [livejournal.com profile] ladyat wasn't there. You must have edited. :)

Why are you shipping a 21" TV halfway around the world? Doesn't that cost more than a 21" TV?
