What's really wild is "driving" around athens using Arial maps. Easy to get lost, but I was able to find:


The house I lived in the first summer I came to stay in Athens


The first place I lived in when I moved permenantly to Athens


The second place I lived in Athens


The last apartment I lived in in Athens

Tried to find Frankfurt (West) but obviously it doesn't exist. The programme did not accept my longitude/latitudes either. The place where I live is not on this earth, obviously.
I am relieved. I don't think I would have liked to be watched from the sky.

But seriously. I've always wanted to get aerial maps of my place here in Singapore as well, but I can't seem to find any.

It doesn't seem fair. The public can peruse, free of charge, 1-metre resolution satellite image maps of the entire United States (plus Alaska), but NOT of tiny Singapore.

What's up with that? Grrr ...
