Stupid Political Questions

I'm too busy and/or lazy to look this up right now, so you get to teach me something.

The Democrats were the party of white supremacy and states rights and protecting the people against big government.

The Republicans were the ones who abolished slavery and saved the Union.

(okay, so even back then the Democrats were the party of personal liberties and the Republicans the party of public morality and the Protestant faithful)

Due to a little ordering glitch, I have wound up with two - count 'em - two copies of "Bradbury Stories: 100 of Bradbury's Most Celebrated Tales"... that's Ray Bradbury, not Malcolm.

Since I got them at two bits each under the Science Fiction Book Club's introductory promotion, and I of course have no real use for the second copy, I'm offering it to whoever wants it and pops over to Athens to get it from me.
