Well, I'm flying off to England in about 18 hours or so. I'll be seeing all you lovely people who are going to plaid_dragon's house for the traditional Eurovision piss-take and dessert party, and thereafter spending about a week getting on her nerves until I fly back to Singapore until mid-July.

So, given limited connectivity, you probably won't hear from me until the end of May or so, which may or may not be a good thing depending on your point of view.

Your adoring fans would no doubt be intrigued by your impressions of Euro-reaction to present prisoner abuse revelations. If the 'honor' of the American presidency ever had any credibility after ShrubCo pounced on Iraq for WMDs and so on, I'd guess it's totally shot now. And if Kerry doesn't keep out of the mix for a while, at least until the dragon stops thrashing around, he's likely to get _his_ tail in a crack as well. Should be an interesting summer, eh.
