Is it just me, or does Superman/Batman make one think of slash?

I can definitely deal with Busiek. JLA/Avengers kicked ass. But, yeah, Justice League Classified sounds like a dating service.

Thanks, Terence. That's a song. Gotta go.... :)

Man of Steel! Sucessful, athletic SWM ISO SF to while away long winter nights. Age, species, skin color unimportant. Desire to travel a must, ability to fly a plus, initials LL a BIG plus.

Precisely. It's half done, but I've been listening to Air America, which has been distracting, as it's Pirate Day. ARRR!

And Thunderbolts is coming back! YAY!

That said, I'm a little nervous about Busiek. IMO, his work quality has been degrading lately -- JLA/Avengers had a great plot but the script never clicked, Astro City is hit and miss -- and I didn't like the JLA guest shots in Power Company. Busiek does such brilliant JLA-like riffs that I wonder if he can actually add anything to the real JLA. But let's hope.

And the any-era arc idea sounds terrific! It's the sort of thing you can only do with a long-term fanbase, but once you have it, why not? It should be a lot of fun to see some modern looks at bygone lineups.
