Anyone else out there running OS X find that Firefox actually runs faster than Safari?

It's a little slower to actually start up, by a couple of seconds or so; but it sure does load pages a lot faster.

I'm not currently a Mac user, but many of my coworkers are. And in any case, what you're seeing on OS X is consistent with what I've seen on Windows and Linux. The development team has fewer bugs they need to work on, so now they're concentrating on performance.

What teddywolf said. I've also been using Firefox at work, where I'm running Windows 2000 on a Dell, and it pleases me. :)
