So, the official title for Star Wars, Chapter III, is "Revenge of the Sith". I'm having flashbacks to when "Return of the Jedi" was "Revenge of the Jedi". I'm not excited, just pointing it out. Did you see me excited with Chapters I and II?

Also, my worst fears are confirmed. Hayden Christiansen is indeed composited as a Force spirit in the funeral scene of the new ROTJ DVD. And I've been told that Lucas has confirmed Jar Jar survives, which is another blow to my little world of denial, who had hoped that some respect could be salvaged if Lucas allowed the new Darth Vader to do a "Seven" and send JJ's head back to Naboo in a box.

But sadly, things are not to be.

i actually don't have a huge problem with hayden christiansen being composited into the ending of ROTJ, except that all the characters who appear in that scene appear at the age that they died, so for consistency it would make more sense for sebastian shaw to be there. but if you view it all in the context of the six movies, and you take into account that - with episodes 1-3 completed - STAR WARS realy becomes the story of the rise, fall and redemption of anakin, then there is something appropriate about him appearing there too, since the original anakin essentially 'dies' with the birth of darth vader and is crossover to the dark side.

what REALLY pisses me off is han not shooting first, but i think that is a lost cause...
