Date: 2004-07-28 08:51 pm (UTC)Best lines: "If Bush had appointed the Supreme Court in place in 1954, Clarence Thomas would never have gotten a chance to go to law school" and a blunt statement -- not that it's not been said, but never at this level of exposure -- that Bush squandered the greatest level of moral advantage the US had ever enjoyed, post 9/11, to a point where we have virtually no allies of consequence in the world.
(He's being quoted lots here in NY on news radio, since he's the hometown boy.)
