Got myself a copy of Spanish For Dummies and a "Spanish on the Move" 3 CD-lesson kit. So far, muy bien.

In other news, classes start tomorrow with the undergrad History survey class. And Battlebug just hit Level 20. Hoo-ah!

While I was in Sinagpore (for the last week) I purchased a book and 2 CD package to assist me in learning mandarin.

Every time I go to Singapore I feel so horribly monolingual that I normally try to start learning another language the moment I get home but this time I decided that, rather than refreshing my awful French, I would learn a language that was actually handy for my region.

Of course, I'm already stunned by the sheer versatility of 'le' but I've decided to worry about that mingtian.

Yay Battlebug! (One day I must actually play CoH rather than just reading about it and thinking 'I'd like to play that')

You're teaching the dummy Spanish? Won't that make your vent act a bit tricky, with him speaking Spanish and you not knowing any?
