The lunar eclipse starts at 8:14, with totality from 9:23 to 10:45.

Some friends of mine in the Boston area had a baby boy about a month ago. He's "doing" a weblog, which includes 1) him in baby sized Red Sox jacket and cap and 2) mention that should a certain event happen, he shall be dubbed "Cursebreaker". I've emailed the father to ask if it's too late to add middle names of "David Manny Curt Pedro Derek Jonny Mark Jason" to the mix.

[On a more serious note, I've gotta be wondering just what Nomar's thinking right now. Can you imagine being a star player and to a degree the public face of the franchise and getting traded away the year they mangage to win it all...and the team didn't really get hot until after said trade? He's now almost the anti-Buckner.]
