Perpetual Night prologue

In preparation for the Halloween event, the staff of City of Heroes told us that an "event" would take place and the Paragon City Council needed the help of level 1-4 heroes on Tuesday evening at 4 PST. In other words, those who showed up would get a sneak preview of this weekend on the game.
So, we piled onto the Test Server with level 1-4 characters before the World Series game... I was on as Blueblade, a Katana/Super Reflexes scrapper.

So we were just hanging around Atlas Park...

When night falls, and we are told to go clicking every mission door we can in the next 20 minutes... Sometimes, we got a treat - an inspiration, or a one-shot temporary power (a rock! Yes, Charlie Brown moment)... but othertimes would pop out of the door...

...Vampires!

... Spirits!

... Pumpkinheads!

... Wolves!

... Zombies!

... and Witches, oh my!
It was over way, way too soon. 20 minutes passed by fast. It was really fun, running all over, clicking on doors and seeing the word TREAT! come up in nice sparkly letters. Once we clicked on a door, if we waited a minute it would be clickable again, else the door would give the usual locked alert. Once, someone got a mission to locate a crate, so that may be part of it as well.
Can't wait for Halloween!
