Because I figure that, oh, we'll know by Spring once the dust from the lawyers have settled.

Hey, the Red Sox can win, but you can't take the fatalism out of the Nation.

In other news, Amendment 1 to the Georgia State Constitution banning gay marriage and civil unions passed. By a 3-to-1 margin. I am not necessarily surprised, although I am appalled.

Too close to call yet... PA is projected to go to Kerry, as is CA... which is a large chunk... so far it's pretty damned close--- too close, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Kerry

What surprised me about Amendment 1 was that it carried just about every county, with no stronghold of opposition in Atlanta.

Some are pointing to those anti-gay amendments as Rove's ace in the hole to get out GOP voters...

Oregon's anti-gay-marriage amendment passed too. To no one's surprise, though no less appalling.

At least Oregon went for Kerry. Some small saving grace.
