Well, I'm moving - across the road to another apartment. For those just showing up, the management is refurbishing all the apartments in my block, and they need to get into mine to do that, so I'm going to be moving into another block. They've been quite good about it - offering to pay for moving my utilities, providing manpower as long as I can give them notice, and even paying for boxes. They want me to move by the 1st week of January.
Which is okay, except for a couple of details I have to sort out. One is that I'll be spending Christmas in Marietta with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ladyat and bedlamhouse, and my ride won't be able to get me back up to Athens until January 2.
Which leaves me the rest of the week to pack and move, but then I run into GAFilk, which is the weekend of January 7-9. I'm wondering if I can get it all done so I can still attend GAFilk. Which I haven't bought membership for or arranged crash space. Hm.
Anybody available on a week day during the first week of January to help me pack and shift stuff?
