Starbuck, obviously.

Even before the whole resurrection thing, they went all BladeRunner on her childhood memories. Hello, replicants anyone? All we need is a unicorn.

What I want to know, is how all these cylons seem to psychically know the signs to earth, but only subconsciously. "Called" to the temple of Jupiter? Childhood drawings of the maelstrom?

Obviously, earth is populated by cylons (not humans) that went before and left clues in the programming of their successors. So where does that leave the humans? Hmmmm.

The loophole here is the timing. Cylons haven't been around all that long. Or have they. And they haven't looked like humans until years after the first war. Or have they? Sol *fought* in the first war. Wait, just how long have humanoid cylons been around?

Hey, wait. Who made who, exactly? Did the humans make cylons... or did the cylons make humans?

Sure they have. Who else do you think the gods of COBOL were?

I hope not, that would be too easy.

*I* think she was affected due to having Hera's blood still in her.

The fifth? For my money?

Roma's cat.

No kiddin'. I had grabbed a torrent of it, and I went and grabbed a different one to watch again as I figured the first one was some kind of fansub messing with me. No such luck, it really was that strange, right up to using, um, somewhat contemporary earth music. Although, given that 'viewer' (*cough* dvd player *cough*) the hangar crew were watching the trial on not having clipped corners, I'm wondering if it was all someone's dream sequence.

Indeed.

And, because it defies all logic, the Fifth has to be Lee.

I haven't seen it yet (should get there this evening) but was spoilered a day or so ago. Far from being annoyed about that, it's actually enhanced my viewing of episodes 14-17. I mean, the chief was up on his feet very soon after being spaced...

Well, my WTF-ness is less to do with the reveal of the final five than the music used in that scene (hence the title of the original post).

Well, since I have now determined that earth is populated by humanoid cylons descended from the original 12 models/gods, and that those original models left clues in the subconcious of those that followed, is it so surprising that someone on earth would "write" the song oddly stuck in their head?
