Quick WoW updates
Jul. 10th, 2007 02:11 pmOnly for the interested, so bail out now while you still can.
I started grinding through the Ogri'la and Skettis daily quests some time ago (the non-suicidal ones at least, I can never get the hang of the bombing runs at the Forge Camps at Blade's Edge Mountains), netting about 44g every night and then once I hit Honored with Ogri'la another 11g 99s for the Banish the Demons daily quest. I also hit Revered with the Sha'tari Skyguard in pretty short order, and it's kind of cute to hear the NPCs mention me by name as I pass them by.
I was about 700g away from my goal of the 5200g I needed for the epic flying skill and mount, when a Wrath Hound in Blade's Edge dropped a set of Depleted Cloth Bracers - an epic item, which, once I charged it up with 50 Apexis Shards became Crystalweave Bracers, which I sold for 808g at the Auction House. And thus, epic flying mount, and still about 200g left over.
Since then, I nearly bankrupted myself by buying enough Primals to get my Guild Master, who's a Leather Worker, some of the materials for him to make me a Thick Netherscale Breastplate (he was good enough to make up the difference with spares he had). However, last night, I was once again grinding in Blade's Edge when another random mob drops The Hammer of Destiny - which is valued at around 1000g. I have it up on auction at 949g buyout at the moment and hoping it'll undercut the other Hammer going for 1000g.
Tonight, I watch Transformers. This weekend, Karazhan again, if there's enough places in the raid group. There's a pair of bracers from Attumen the Huntsman and these boots from the Chess Event that I've been eyeing, and the Curator still has my gloves...

Date: 2007-07-10 10:27 am (UTC)I just got my first port to Shat last night. Still only level 58 and dreaming about just a simple epic mount, not even flying. . .

Date: 2007-07-10 08:26 pm (UTC)Of course, as soon as I've got enough for the flying mount, it's time to start grinding rep with Netherwing. Every tiny gnome needs a dragon to fly around on, right?
