Hey Beautiful
by The Solids

Shed a smoke - broken in
Tale of woe-oh-oh
Commiserating - so hard to let go
I'm on your back scratching early
And your candidate
I hope you never know how hard it is to
Hard it is to wait
    Hey beautiful
    I seen you comin'
    Oh no you don't
    Walk away from me
Oh oh oh - oh oh oh - oh oh oh
    Hey beautiful
Oh oh oh - oh oh oh - oh oh oh
    Hey beautiful
    Hey hey hey beautiful
Got a Walk - got a List
Got a Hall of Fame
I got an asterisk next to your name
Grab a cup - drink it up
Make a battle plan
Are we ever up to the task at
To the task at hand?
    Hey beautiful
    I seen you comin'
    Oh no you don't
    Walk away from me
Oh oh oh - oh oh oh - oh oh oh
    Hey beautiful
Oh oh oh - oh oh oh - oh oh oh
    Hey beautiful
    Hey hey hey beautiful

      I don't know if I go
But if I go I go alone
      I don't know if I go
But if I go I go alone
      I don't know if I go
      I don't know if I go
Well if I go - go now!
      Woo!

Yes. Very disturbing.

My current favorite soundtrack is the opening credits for the HBO mini-series John Adams. Wonderful music with loads of great drums. I've been reading the book along with the series, and it's fantastic.

I read the book when I was at UGA - not for class, but just as a by the by, and enjoyed it very much, although McCullough is a bit too "great man" view of history for my taste, but that's just the nitpicky history academic in me talking. As a popular biography, it's great.

The series is pretty good too, despite the odd time compression and historical simplification for dramatic purposes. I really need to get around to watching parts three and four, but the Get Smart complete series boxed set keeps getting in the way... :)

There are *cough* alternatives. I have a US-based bank account/credit card, which is quite useful.

Or buy compilation CDs, lor. Or source them from various people.
